Things to do in Suffolk: Visit Aldeburgh town
Aldeburgh is a pretty coastal town with lovely architecture, popular with visitors throughout the year.
Possibly best known as the home of composer Benjamin Britten, and the location of the internationally renowned Aldeburgh Festival, Aldeburgh remains an artistic and literary centre as well as a popular destination for holidaymakers and sailors. Famous for many things - good food (including great fish and chips!), the Music Festival, artist Maggi Hambling's 'Scallop' sculpture on the beach. There are independent shops, a sweet little old cinema, plenty of good eateries and miles of beautiful countryside walks to enjoy.
