This Grade II, 17th century mid-terrace property is situated in the quiet Suffolk village of Huntingfield. Nearby places to visit include Framlingham with its impressive castle and the beautiful resort of Southwold with its pier and stunning beaches. Make use of the Four adult bikes available, and explore the local area on two wheels.

Upon entering this cottage you will feel immediately at home, as the sitting room welcomes you. Beautifully appointed featuring original beams and an inglenook fireplace featuring a wood burning stove, this space is perfect for nestling into after a day spent exploring. With at television, DVD and CD player with iPod dock, there is plenty to keep you entertained. A cosy dining area is a great sport for sharing in meals and conversation. Plan your day ahead sat at the breakfast bar in the well-equipped country kitchen. A stable door leads from here into the charming courtyard garden.

A steep, enclosed, spiral staircase leads to the first floor where two of the three inviting bedrooms are presented. Exuding oodles of character, bedroom two hosts twin beds. A single bed is available in bedroom three, which enjoys garden views.These rooms are served by a bathroom offering bath with shower over. A second steep, enclosed, spiral staircase leads to the master bedroom on the second floor. Featuring a king-size bed under a beamed apex ceiling, this room feels rather romantic.

Outside, the private enclosed garden benefits from views of a stream and copse. A lovely patio area is an idyllic spot ro relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is also parking available for one car, as well as use of an EV charger if required.

Huntingfield is a quiet village between the market towns of Framlingham and Southwold. There is an excellent pub on the green opposite the cottage which serves good food. You can also collect your supper from the pub on a 'take away' basis to enjoy in the cottage. The nearby village of Laxfield provides a village shop and two further pubs. You will find a further selection of shops in the attractive market town of Halesworth less than five miles away.

Additional Information:
One well-behaved dog is welcome (small additional charge).
Electric vehicle charging point available (£30 per charge, payable on booking).
Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the cot.
Additional parking spaces are available by the village hall just across the village green or possibly in the pub car park (please consult the landlord of the pub beforehand).

A delightful Millennium Green with children's play area / community orchard / wild flower meadow / and petanque boule pitch just 100 yards from the cottage.

Places to visit in the area include Framlingham with its impressive castle which is within a 20-minute drive. The elegant seaside town of Southwold with its pier and stunning beaches, boutique shops and many restaurants is only 10 miles away - afternoon tea at Tilly's is not to be missed.

There is a full concert programme throughout the year at Snape Maltings, five miles from the coastal town of Aldeburgh - both are within easy reach as is the RSPB reserve at Minsmere.

Framlingham Castle and Orford Castle.

National Trust properties within the area include: Ickworth House and Sutton Hoo.

Other historic houses and gardens within the area include: Helmingham Hall Gardens, Otley Hall and Yaxley Hall.

If you fancy walking there are many footpaths crossing the countryside or head towards the coast and experience the unique Sandlings habitat with its abundance of wildlife, which forms part of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Beauty.

Besides the Huntingfield Arms in the village, there are a number of other pubs in neighbouring villages which serve tasty food. The Low House in Laxfield serves food and drink and has a wide range of events on throughout the year.

Suffolk has a vibrant food culture and there are some fantastic local producers. Head to Emmett's in Peasenhall for cured meats and there are a number of markets where there is lots of local produce on offer.

The Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival provides a fantastic snap shot of the wide variety of local food on offer and the fringe events allow you to see the producers at work.
